Placed under the technical supervision of the Ministry of Livestock, Fisheries and Animal Industries (MINEPIA) and the financial supervision of the Ministry of Finance (MINFI), MIDEPECAM is administered by two bodies namely, the Board of Directors and the Direction.
The board of directors is chaired by a personality appointed by decree of the President of the Republic and composed of eleven members :
A representative of the Ministry of Livestock and Animal Industries.
A representative of the Ministry of the Economy and Planning.
A representative of the Ministry of Finance
A representative of the Ministry of the Armed Forces
A representative of the Ministry of Transport
The Prefects of the Coastal Departments: FAKO, NDIAN, OCEAN, SANAGA MARITIME, WOURI.
The management of MIDEPECAM is ensured, under the authority of the Chairman of the Board of Directors, by a Director appointed by decree.
In addition, MIDEPECAM has an administrative and financial department within its management, as well as a sales and marketing department. It also has three (03) ice production units, a catch marketing unit and five (05) agencies (YOUPE, KRIBI, EDEA, LIMBE and BAMUSSO) to which are attached four (04) branches (Mouanko , Dehané, Campo and Yoyo).
MIDEPECAM’s accounts are audited annually by an auditor appointed for 3 years by the board of directors.
