These products come mainly from the Bakassi area and the fishing camps located in Idabato.
This unit for collecting, transporting and marketing catches has :
- two type W23 fiberglass boats
- two 75 horsepower YAMAHA outboard motors
- two 25 horsepower YAMAHA outboard motors
- one 5 ton refrigerated truck
- Two 11.5 and 7.5 ton refrigerated trucks
- One 30 m3 negative cold room.

Our activities in this area consist specifically of :
- Transport the ice in our boats from Idenau to Idabato via Bamusso & nbsp ;;
- Distribute fishing equipment and accessories from Bamusso and Idenau to Idabato & nbsp;
- Collect fish and shrimp catches from Idabato and transport them to urban centers ;
As part of supplying the urban market with fishery products, MIDEPECAM markets quality fishing catches at an affordable price.
Our presence in the sector considerably reduces the pressure from traders who come from Nigeria neighbor with fishing equipment, in exchange for fishery products from the area, destined for their country.
Indeed, the border town of Ekang in Nigeria is closer to the collection area of Idabato, than the town of Idenau in Cameroon.
The effective presence of MIDEPECAM in the Bakassi peninsula in general has enabled more than 2000 Cameroonian artisanal fishermen to settle there and carry out their activities peacefully.
